“Never place faith in anyone who drinks dessert-flavored vodka. Anyone who drinks straight bourbon, meanwhile, can be trusted with a newborn.”—Drew Lazor for Philadelphia City Paper, May 31 2012 (via callmehats)
“The only reason “coming out” is still even a thing is because it’s presumed that people are straight until they tell us otherwise. “The Other must identify itself, or else it is decieving us” is a fucked up, dangerous idea.”—Anon (via victor-the-richter)
“… I wanna fit in to the perfect space,
feel natural and safe in a volatile place.
And I wanna grow old without the pain,
give my body back to the earth and not complain.”—the avett brothers (via when-we-are-both-cats)
Went for a hike at Cave Point today. It is so amazingly beautiful here. It was windy and the waves were huge but it made for nice background noise while walking. I know there are some gorgeous places in the world but here, in Wisconsin, will always be my favorite place. I have so many memories up here and I think one of the most beautiful things is being able to drive and not see a house for miles, just fields or farms and then it’s always so beautiful by the lake. This is why I’m living, no person can give you the feeling you get walking through the woods and stepping into a clearing where the sun is shining through the trees, no one.
